House Rules
✅ Please be respectful of the community and neighbors at all times. ✅ No drugs or weapons allowed on premises. ✅ No smoking or vaping allowed on premises. Please go outside if you wish to smoke or vape anything. ‼️If there is any evidence that smoking has taken place inside the home, there will be a $350 ADDITIONAL FINE. ✅ For longer term stays we encourage opting for periodic in-stay cleanings, though it does incur additional fees. This lessens the burden on our cleaners at the end of your stay, and makes sure we won't need to charge you for a deep clean. ✅ No additional guests allowed without prior approval ✅ We require the person booking to stay at the property, acting as the responsible party. ID Verification is required to book. ✅ We do not allow parties or boisterous events in order to prevent damage to the property, as well as respecting our neighbors (both in regards to noise and parking space/street presence) as this is a small residential neighborhood. ✅ We may not be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out due to demand, guest bookings and cleaner scheduling. Please respect our 4pm check-in time and 11am check-out times unless other agreed-to arrangements have been made. ✅ No pets allowed ✅ We discourage young children from staying at this property due to the stairs and rooftop. If you are staying with children or elderly guests, please be careful and ensure that children are supervised at all times.
Other Details to Note
- Please make sure to always TURN THE GAS OFF after using the fire pit on the roof top, and put the cover on it when not in use so it doesn't rust. -The BBQ grill and firepit in the courtyard are privately owned by neighbors and not for community use. - Please note that while it is an enclosed space of its own, the rooftop terrace does directly adjoin those of our neighbors. If you see them on their rooftops, please be respectful towards them, but don't be scared to say hi! If you're interested in a stay longer than 29 nights, reach out to us. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Q: Do you have air conditioning? A: Yes, we do! Unlike most homes in Seattle, we have central AC throughout the house, as well as air conditioner inverters in each room (the central AC doesn't reach upstairs very well on its own.) The AC inverters are newly installed and are controlled via remote. The central system is controlled by the thermostat. Q: How does the parking work? A: Finding parking around Alki can be impossible at times, especially in the summer. Not to worry, as not only do you have reserved parking, but secure covered parking in our single-car garage! The garage opens via nearby keypad, and we will send the code prior to your check-in. We can also remotely open/close the garage if it is necessary. The garage connects directly to the bottom floor of the home via a door with an electronic lock. Input your entry code (also sent prior to check-in) on this keypad to enter the home from the garage. Q: How do you use the fireplace/blinds/AC inverters? A: There is a switch (looks like a light switch) on the side of the fireplace, to the right. Turn on this switch and wait about 5 seconds for the fireplace to turn on. Turn off the switch to turn off the fireplace. The blinds in the home are smart blinds that can only be controlled via remote. DO NOT TRY TO PULL THE BLINDS MANUALLY, they will break. The remote is labeled, and instructions to use the blinds are on the remote. The AC inverters can be controlled via remote. Remotes are in each room with an inverter. The remotes are labeled. Q: What linens are included? A: We provide bed linens for each bed as well as full sets of bathroom towels, including makeup towels. All beds are protected with mattress encasements, waterproof protectors, and pillow protectors. Q: What household supplies are provided? A: We provide all essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, lotion, paper towels, and toilet paper. We also try to make sure we are consistently stocked with dishwasher and laundry detergent, as well as toiletries like Q-tips, cotton pads, and menstrual products. Other household essentials like a broom, vacuum, and iron are also provided. Q: What time are check-in and check-out? A: Our normal check-in time begins at 4pm. We use electronic locks with smart keypads that automatically program your code for the duration of your booking, so we have a self check-in system. You don't have to worry about arriving late; you can arrive any time after 4pm. Our normal check-out time is 11AM. Please note that your keypad code will stop working after this. If you have questions about an early check-in or a late check-out, please see below. Q: Is an early check-in/a late check-out possible? A: Yes, but it is dependent on our booking calendar and the schedule of our cleaners at that time. Please reach out to us the day before (or day of) your check-in to see if we can get you in earlier than our usual 4pm check-in time. Often times, even if we can't get you in early, you can still drop off your luggage at the home (even if our cleaners are still there). For late check-out: Similarly, it's highly dependent on our schedule. Please contact us about a late check-out as soon as you are able to, ideally a day or two in advance of your scheduled check-out, so our cleaners can plan accordingly. If a new guest is scheduled to check in the same day, we may not be able to accomodate a late check-out. Reach out to us, and we'll work with you as best we can. Q: Do you allow parties? A: No. We do not allow parties at the home under any circumstances. (This can differ from family gatherings-- reach out to us.) This condo is part of a quiet, upscale community with neighbors close by-- please respect our community and our neighbors. Do not cause any disturbances, and be a good patron of our home. Thank you. Q: Do you allow pets? A: No, unfortunately we do not allow pets at the home. We are obligated to accomodate trained and registered ADA service animals-- please contact us if this is the case for you, and we'd appreciate if you can provide any relevant documentation/certifications so we can best accomodate you. Please note that this is distinct from ESAs/Emotional Support Animals. Q: Do you allow smoking or vaping? A: No, we do not allow smoking or vaping inside of the home. If you wish to smoke, please go outdoors.

Accessibility and Availability
Neighborhood
From Seattlesouthside: “Alki Beach Park, located in West Seattle, about 15 minutes from downtown. A trip to Alki Beach and drive along the water has few, if any, equals in the city. It features stunning views of the downtown skyline and across Puget Sound. It has a sparkling sand beach that imparts a resort character and prompts an undeniable hunger for fish and chips. The drive also includes the historic spot on Alki Beach where the first white settlers arrived in Seattle and spent the winter of 1851 before retreating to the less blustery site on Elliot Bay that became downtown. "Alki Beach is also a home to several restaurants year around ranging from hamburger joints to upscale gourmet with mesmerizing views of downtown Seattle. Whether you want to catch some rays or watch a winter storm roll in, Alki Beach is a great place to view Seattle from a different perspective. "Walk, jog, rollerblade, or bicycle your way down the paved trail along the beach and take in all of the sights, sounds and smell of the beach. Join a game of beach volleyball, rent kayaks or stand up paddle boards from local vendors, go for a swim and then cozy up by a fire and roast marshmallows. There are so many ways to enjoy this beach you be coming back year after year to experience it all!” Alki Beach is unique in Seattle. One of the few sandy beaches in the area, and perhaps the most popular beach in the summer. With plenty of shared bikes and scooters for rent, jogging/biking path, fire pits, picnic tables and a bathhouse/art studio, this beach is popular year-round. Plus, it is a Seattle City park, so the public has access. Most beaches in Washington State are classified as private property, so having this amazing beach park open to everyone is truly special. Alki Beach Park is also part of the renowned "Whale Trail", a series of sites to view whales and other marine mammals from shore along the Pacific Coast. The best time to see orca whales from Alki is during the fall and winter, when the southern resident pods return to this area. West Seattle itself is also a gem. The birthplace of modern Seattle, West Seattle has always had a small town vibe due to the fact that it is on the other side of the Puget Sound from the downtown hustle/bustle/chaos, but is easily accessible by Water Taxi, bus, car, ride share, etc.
Guest Access
You have access to the entire home. You can enter through either the front or back entrance doors, or through the garage; all entry doors have a smart lock and electronic keypad programmed with your entry code (provided to you before check-in). Simply enter your unique code, and you're in! The home has a private, single-car garage you can park in. The garage is on the same side as the front entrance, to the right. There is a white, Linear branded keypad you can use to open the garage, right in between the garage and the front entrance. It's a little bit hidden; we will provide visual instructions ahead of your check-in, as well as the keypad code. We are also able to remotely open and close the garage if you experience issues or in case of emergency, but please don't rely on this.
