This three-bedroom hideaway has easy access to SeaTac airport and is conveniently located close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to check out all of Tacoma. Additionally, our location is perfect for exploring Washington National Parks such as Mt Rainier, and Olympic National Park, as well as Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, nearby Vashon Island, and Point Defiance Park and Zoo. Map & Compass Hideaway is a three-bedroom family home featuring: • A large front and back yard, fully fenced • Spacious living/dining area with a Roku smart TV, a collection of books and board games, a dining table that can accommodate six individuals, and a one-of-a-kind handcrafted disco lighthouse. (See pictures) • Air conditioning in each bedroom & living room The main floor holds: • Living/Dining room • King bedroom • Queen bedroom • Full bathroom • Full kitchen with oven, range, dishwasher, microwave, and smart Samsung refrigerator (with water and ice dispensers) • Blender, rice cooker, toaster oven, and several coffee options: Keurig machine, French press, and a drip coffee machine with a high-quality coffee grinder and local beans provided. The kitchen connects to the convenient laundry room with a full washer and dryer, which opens out to the back deck. • Upstairs is the master bedroom with king bed, smart TV, and en-suite private bathroom. Enjoy the lightning-fast Wi-Fi for Zoom calls, to work remotely, or just to play. This quiet home provides plenty of spaces for you to work, including seating in each bedroom, and a dedicated desk setup resides in the lower queen bedroom. The backyard holds a wood deck with tables, seating, and string lights. There is a wood-burning outdoor fireplace and a charcoal barbecue grill, perfect for a cozy and memorable meal on a summer night. (Or any night!) This house is located in a sweet spot, where the neighborhood is residential yet you're not far away from anything you need. Gorgeous Wapato Park is less than a mile away, featuring a beautiful setting of lake and forest. Features include a walking trail around the lake (.9 miles), a playground, a dog park, picnic shelters, and an impressive, historic pergola. Non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake and it is stocked every spring with trout for fishing. You will be just blocks away from I5, with easy access to the mall, all of Tacoma, and the rest of glorious Washington State. There is also public transport available and several bus stops available in walking distance of the house. There is a police/fire station nearby at Wapato Park if there are any issues of privacy or safety. Please make sure to use the charcoal BBQ and wood-burning fireplace on the back deck responsibly and safely. By renting this property you are assuming all risk of and liability for any damage done to person or property, agents, employees, or visitors in accessing the fireplace, BBQ, and/or any other feature or amenity, including any staircases, occasioned by the present or future condition of the premises both latent and manifest. Anyone age 16 or under near the fireplace or BBQ when in use MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES . No exceptions. Neither MGP LLC nor the property owner will be responsible for accidents or injury to guest(s) and/or their visitors, or loss of money or valuables of any kind.
